FOOTJOY PULSE
ROLE: Motion Direction · Lighting · Lead Animation
Working directly with FootJoy, Matt led motion direction, lighting, and animation for Pulse — a high-energy 3D product film created for the shoe’s international launch.
APPROACH
Inspired by the movement and color of the Northern Lights, the film uses shifting light and abstract forms to build a visual world around the FJ Pulse. Product-focused moments give way to more expressive imagery, pushing the film beyond a traditional footwear spot.
Working from a scanned model supplied by FootJoy, the focus was on making the shoe feel fast and technical while giving the film an atmosphere and identity of its own.
